James founded Appoly in 2017, a boutique technology studio dedicated to delivering cutting-edge, innovative software products and solutions. With over 9 years of experience working for various digital agencies and in the games industry, James created the UK Development Studio based in Leamington Spa. He brings a wealth of expertise in app and web development, combined with a strong consultative approach to providing long-term, sustainable solutions.
After graduating with a Computer Science degree from Aston University, James built a career around mastering the latest technologies in web and mobile development, cloud infrastructure, and game programming. His technical skills span numerous platforms, from serverless architectures on AWS, Digital Ocean, and Linode to frameworks like Laravel, React, and Vue.js. He has a deep knowledge of content management systems and e-commerce platforms, as well as experience in RESTful APIs and mobile app development using Swift and Kotlin.
Under James’ leadership, Appoly has helped businesses achieve significant process improvements and cost savings, all while delivering scalable digital solutions. He is passionate about fostering innovation through an R&D programme that inspires industry-leading solutions and keeps Appoly at the forefront of emerging technologies.
